The appointment was effective Nov. 1. Mathes had been the director of sales operations for O’Rourke Media Group (OMG). In Wisconsin, OMG operates the Tri-County News, Tempo and Verve women’s magazine in Kiel; the Sheboygan Sun, Ripon Express, Ripon Commonwealth Press, Great Dane Shopping News (Madison), Verona Press, Oregon Observer, Stoughton Courier Hub and Fitchburg Star.
In her newly appointed role, Mathes will direct employees working in the business office, graphic design and sales to drive revenue, standardize processes and improve efficiency with all business activity.
