Graphic Designer

O’Rourke Media Group is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our fast-growing company. The optimal candidate will bring lots of creativity to help maximize print and digital advertising campaigns for our customers and will thrive
working in a fast-pasted, deadline-driven environment. We’re looking for someone to work out of our office in St.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality design for print and digital advertising and marketing campaigns, brand identity materials,
    and other marketing collateral.
  • Work and communicate directly with clients and our sales teams.
  • Adhere to production schedules and work under tight deadlines.
  • Contribute to multi-channel, internal company marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-3 years’ professional design experience.
  • Highly proficient in InDesign and knowledge of all Adobe programs.
  • Illustrator and Photoshop skills.

Digital Marketing Manager

O’Rourke Media Group is recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager to work with our sales teams and customers to grow digital marketing and advertising revenue. We currently have businesses in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Vermont, and Arizona. You can check out more about our parent company at www.orourkemediagroup.com.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize SEM campaigns, develop keyword lists and ad copy, and create/modify landing pages.
  • Work directly with white label partners to fulfill SEO, targeted display, video, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Handle the fulfillment of Facebook advertising for customers.
  • Schedule and optimize digital display ads for our local websites through Google Ad Manager.
  • Provide analytical reporting for all stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • College degree in related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a digital marketing capacity.
  • PPC Specialist, Google Ad Word Certified.
  • Strong written and communication skills.

Senior Graphic Designer

O’Rourke Media Group is looking for a creative, highly-motivated Senior Graphic Designer. Candidates must be highly proficient in all Adobe programs, top-level in InDesign, and publication and editorial layout skills essential. Illustrator and Photoshop skills a must. Marketing experience is a big plus.   This position is based out of our company office in Saint Albans, Vermont.

In this role, you will:

  • Produce high-quality, unique marketing campaigns, brand identity materials, publications, advertisements, and other marketing pieces. This includes both design and conceptual work, as well as digital and print design.
  • Work and communicate directly with clients.
  • Adhere to production schedules and work under tight deadlines.

You should have:

  • A BA/BS degree
  • A strong background in Design
  • A strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • A willingness to work in a collaborative environment and go the extra mile
  • A positive attitude
  • 2-3 years’ professional design experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field.

Outside Sales Representative

We’re recruiting for an outside sales representative to help develop sales in Franklin and Chittenden County, Vermont. You’ll be responsible for prospecting and closing new business and managing the customer relationship post-sale. 

O’Rourke Media Group is the #1 provider of local news and information in the communities we serve, and we also provide a full suite of advertising solutions and digital marketing services.

Job Requirements

  • Two to three years of B2B outside sales experience. Effective with building business relationships in person.
  • Excel at building trust and following through to get customers maximum ROI for their advertising spend.
  • A drive for winning and achieving goals. You want to be on top of the scorecard each week.
  • Technology savvy. Our sales professionals have to understand the digital ecosystem to be effective selling
    digital products and services.
  • Solid work ethic. It’s an autonomous work environment. We have no interest in micro-managing to get results.
